I just bought an 04 manual from the original owner. All stock and it has 250k miles lol. It was taken care of. The slight clutch rattle noise scared me a bit but I bit the bullet anyways. Luckily, after some research and watching your video, it seems common.

Nice pun "hopefully this sheds some light..." ha ha. Anyway, just a note on the resistors, since vehicles have DC (not AC) the diode only allowing current in one direction would not affect it. It would either just work (very high resistance) or not work (open) depending on polarity. It would likely result in hyperflash/error in both scenarios. The problem some people run into is that not all cars have used turn signal bulbs with the same resistance over the years. Option 1: If you have a multitester, just measure the resistance of the factory bulb, and make sure the resistor has approximately the same resistance. If you have trouble, measure the Ohms of the resistors and make sure they match what they are supposed to be. With such a lack of quality these days, you may also have a defective resistor. Option 2: Purchase replacement LED with a built in resistor, but it has to specific to the bulb being replaced (ie have the same resistance). If the LED manufacturer tries to get away with using the same LED replacement for incandescent bulbs with vastly different resistance, then it may or may not work. Option 3: Trial and error with straight LED (no built in resistor). If you get hyperflash/error, use a resistor. If it's still too fast, try a resistor with smaller Ohm value (or you can also use 2 of the larger resistors in parallel to achieve half--but be careful, you might blow a fuse in the process :-). If it's blinking too slow, use more resistance (you can put 2 of them in series to double the resistance). Just look up resistors in parallel vs series on youtube if you are not sure what that is. Changing resistance has an inverse effect on the amps. The computer is really just looking at the amount of amps drawn when it flashes and a straight LED bulb uses significantly less amps (has higher resistance) than incandescent. Option 4: Some owner's manuals give the watts of the bulb and as long as the resistor's watt rating is based on the same voltage, it might get you close enough, YMMV. Option 5: There may be a replacement flasher or relay (vehicle specific) that can fix it.

Absolutely ignorant piece of shit for recommending led headlights in stock halogen housings. Totally fine an dandy to outfit the Interior dome lights an such, or even plate lights an maybe reverse lights but never ever ever put anything but halogen bulbs in headlights that came stock with them.

Would a big exhaust leak right after the y pipe cause an issue with the crankshaft sensor? My car cranks but engine wont turn on. Fuel pump seems to be working I can smell fuel burning. Checked the fuses and relays they are working. Gonna check the camshaft sensors and crankshaft position sensor hopefully it’s the crank shaft sensor.

I know this is an old post but im having some issues with my 04 350z. Car cranks but wont start. i replaced the battery and oil pressure sensor after getting 120 oil pressure on my gauges. I was wondering if the mass air flow sensor would stop the engine from starting if it was dirty. Also if i have the torx bit to remove the air flow sensor can i do that instead of removing the whole housing? thank you for the zed videos. Ive learned alot from you over the years.

Thank's. This was a good explanation of what to expect when tapping a fuse. I bought a new set of headlights that requires a fuse tap for the DRL's and no tap was included for the harness. Now I know what I need and how to use it.

Could that be the reason why my Pontiac G6 right front tire keeps grabbing and letting go after I drive it? If you put your hand near the tire even a foot away you can feel heat radiating off of the rim bad!

I just did a cam and lifters on a 14 5.3 . It runs good now. The cylinder that was misfiring is now fine. But now i have a P0300 and a miss under load on #6. Could be coincidence and need an injector now. I have 180 psi on cyl 6. At idle i get no misfire count. But in drive power braking #6 misfire count goes up steadily. Any advice ?

Trying this, this afternoon! I had to disconnect my battery last night (Put a system In) and my AC wouldn’t blow cold air at all! I was told change actuator but going to try this first wish me luck! I’ll update ASAP!

I have an 04 2500hd But my front ledt turn signal lights up when I apply the breaks. What would case this to happen I changed the switch relay under the steering wheel

The box and sub are slightly getting over the false floor. I don’t that it still opens without doing some yoga with the false floor. But the tips and tricks were much helpful and some of ur comments too “baby powder advice”. Overall a nice video. 👍🏼

I just tried to recalibrate the A/C on my 2004 Chevy suburban with manual controls still not blowing cold. Right before my AC went out the rear was blowing cold but not the front. Then it stopped working all together. Came across your video and The first time I did it the passenger side started to blow cooler than my driver side. But the driver side was still hot. So I tried to do it again with the recalibration because I felt like I didn't do it correctly and now I'm back to where I started with just hot blowing air everywhere. So I think it's an actuator or maybe multiple actuators

you forgot to mention the you need to apply gasket marker in a couple of the corners.

I have an f 250 and your video helped. After a short struggle I found that the hidden latch had a looped pull strap. Much easier.
